Terms and Conditions

  • The Aesthetes only sell 100% genuine products. We do not sell any copies or fakes. Our paintings are original one of a kind oil paintings painted by British Artists. Other handmade items from  are original and one of a kind made in the UK.
  • All images of the items are of the actual items. We have added extra images to give you as much visual information as possible. The images of the paintings (when you click on the title to view them) are photographed in natural daylight against a white wall and may be slightly duller than the actual painting when you receive it. Please also consider the colour settings on your monitor. Please check full item details and description. We make a conscious effort to give as much detail as possible unlike other online stores
  • All stock and prices are subject to availability. As we only have 1 item of each product as soon as an item is sold we will change the status as soon as we can. If an item has been sold twice we will refund the cost of the sale to the second customer and contact them to explain that the item has already been sold. The Aesthetes will not grant compensation in any form for inconvenience experienced as a result or for disappointment suffered.
  • All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling
  • Please check your order details carefully before submitting your order.  If you have made a mistake or changed your mind about an item please let us know as soon as possible . We may have not yet arranged for your item to be sent therefore we can just cancel the order and refund you.
  • Please read carefully the descriptions and look at the images. We try to describe items and photograph items to give you as much information as possible. If you are unsure please contact us. We can answer any questions, concerns and if you would like us to photograph more images we can do that.
  • Please note that Special Offer/ Promotion prices are only valid if the item is purchased at the offer/promotion price. The price you have paid will be the price that will be refunded.
  • All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 days, although we will try to resolve complaints immediately where possible. The customer will be informed of all progress.
  • In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988 we do not supply any of your details to a third party. We also do not send random marketing emails of our promotions. Our first stop to advertise promotions is through our Twitter and Facebook pages and new items in the This Weeks New Items page.
  • Orders may be subject to extra security checks by your bank or credit card provider..
  • The Aesthetes will deliver items to the address given to us by Paypal. If you would like us to deliver your items to your work address we can do that but we will need for you to confirm the address.
  • We have in the past delivered items to hotels for our international customers that have come to the UK for a holiday. Please note that your items may not be kept at reception but at the concierge desk. If you supply us with a mobile/cell phone number we will text you that your item has been delivered, signed for and is ready for you to collect.

  • Orders returned " Not Called For" or similar by Royal Mail or courier service will be refunded the cost of products upon receipt. Customers will be notified that the goods have been returned and the order effectively canceled. The customer will then need to reorder and pay for the goods if they are still required.
  • Orders not received, which were dispatched by Tracked Postage will not be deemed " missing" until 15 working days have passed, therefore no resend or refund will be offered until after this period. Orders dispatched outside the UK must allow 28 working days.
  • If an order is not received you must notify The Aesthetes by email within 30 days of dispatch as no claim can be made after this time.
  • The Aesthetes shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
  • In the rare event of a customer receiving an incorrect item, The Aesthetes will upon receipt of the returned incorrect item, send the correct item and refund the return postage. If the customer requires a fast replacement, The Aesthetes will recharge the customer, send the correct item and on receipt of the returned incorrect item, refund the customer for the cost of their 2nd order and for their return postage.
